Nature Tapes is Lemon Demon's second EP, released on March 24th, 2014 to Bandcamp.[1] It's unique in that none of the songs were made with the release of this EP in mind. All tracks were released as singles between 2010 and 2014. Goosebumps and Sexy DVD have been retroactively added to the official track listing on the Needlejuice release,[2] due to Neil forgetting to add these songs to the EP in 2014.

The Needlejuice re-release of Nature Tapes was originally mastered by Mark Kramer on May 31, 2019. However, the EP was later re-mastered by Angel Hair Audio on December 24th, 2021 alongside Spirit Phone, I Am Become Chistmas and View-Monster.

Trivia[]

  • The original, unedited album cover comes from a promotional picture for a Pinocchio party. [12]
  • Currently, Nature Tapes is unavailable on iTunes in certain parts of the US and around the world.
  • Nature Tapes does not actually meet the definition of an EP, as it has more tracks than either the RIAA or UK sales charts allow. [13]
  • On the vinyl version's Side B, after Brodyquest, there is a locked groove that repeats Adrien Brody, and on Side A, approx. 7 minutes after Everybody Loves Raymond, you can find Sexy DVD.
  • Every track was originally released before this album, so this makes it a compilation album. You can find all the tracks on FuMP.
  • When this album first came out it was named Nature Tapes EP but when it got reissued it got changed too Nature Tapes because this album doesnt count as a ''EP", however it is still sold as one.
  • The 1st and 2nd Vinyl pressings were pressed as 10" Vinyls, it was switched for later pressings to 12" for more possible vinyl variants.
